Nearing the end of this year, our team has just launched Assemblr's latest program called ‘Scan and Win’! Scan and Win is a collaboration between Assemblr and a number of brands and merchants, where brands can set up Augmented Reality (AR) games that can be played by users to win rewards.
Rachel Vennya’s Ngikan Yuk Bandung, Upnormal, Namasuki Bandung, D’Jeger Fried Chicken, Ngopi Doeloe (Ngopdoel) Coffee, Aisberg Coffee & Working Space, and Hungry Station are some of the brands that have already joined this program.
“Most of these brands are engaged in the Food & Beverages industry, but we do not limit it to this sector. We are open to any brand that wants to use the Scan & Win program. Everyone can apply by simply contacting our team, then we will review it and get in touch with the brand shortly,“ explained Agistian Fathurizki, the Scan and Win project lead.
'Scan & Win' was meant to answer the growing competition between brands and merchants today. These days, most brands only promote their products to their customers digitally, through social media like Instagram. Of course, at some point, this saturates the market and eventually becomes less engaging to the customers. Assemblr aims to help brands make more engaging campaigns and more exciting customer experience with Scan and Win, where users can immerse themselves in the fun AR games and win various discounts and freebies. Everyone is happy!
While AR is not a fairly new technology, not many brands have used it in Indonesia. Promotions with AR seem expensive or even unfamiliar to most brands. However, Scan and Win can help increase brand awareness and brand activation without requiring a lot of time and money. This is because various types of AR games in this program are made in the form of premade templates. So far, Assemblr provides two templates, namely virtual arcade machine and slot machine.
If you have Assemblr on your phone, of course this is good news! It's a good chance for you to enjoy various good deals easily from brands which have partnered with the app. It can be said that Scan and Win is a pilot project, because in the future we also plan to release paid premium templates to give more AR game experience options for the brands.
“Hopefully, this AR project is not only seen as a gimmick, but rather as a solution to problems that are inseparable from daily life,” Agistian concluded.
