Have you tried the Interactivity feature, but still stuck on how to make use of it? Or maybe, are you still new to it? Don't worry—we've got several tutorials about the feature! But for now, we'll be covering one of the interactions: Move.
In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how to use the Move interaction by moving the cow back into the fence.
Here's the creation, and to see the interaction, just tap or click on the cow! 👇🏼
Start by adding the interactivity...
First up, click the 3D object on your project. Since the object is the cow, we'll click on the cow.
Then, choose Add Interactivity on the right panel.
As our goal is to make the cow move, choose Move!
...and set the interactivity!
Once you've added the interaction, you can also set it up!
First off, choose the direction of your movement. We want to move the cow forward, so let's choose Forward.
And then, you can also set the target object. For this one, you can choose a different target object, so as you click or tap on it, it will trigger another object to move.
However, since we want to move the same cow, just pick the same one.
Next, we have the distance. Basically, the bigger amount you input, the further your object will move.
Now, we have all the basic settings covered, so let's move on to the advanced settings.
In advanced settings, there are 3 things that you can set manually:
- Start time: Determine the time your object starts to move after you click or tap on it.
- Duration: Determine how long your object will move.
- Easing: Specify the motion of your object, so at some points, it may accelerate or decelerate.
If you've got it all on set, let's click Apply!
And that's how to move your object with the Interactivity feature. 😉
