Hi, everyone! Following our previous post, today we're gonna show you around the major updates in Assemblr. But first, have you tried it yet? What do you think about the new Assemblr? You know, if you got some takes and feedbacks you can always leave us a comment in our social media channels. What you want could be in our next update!
Anyway, Assemblr now looks like this.
Notice any difference? A lot, we bet. Our favorite change is the portrait orientation, which makes it even easier for you to browse through the app. No need to rotate the phone!
The new Assemblr also comes with a fresh and lighter editor called the ‘Simple Editor’. With this one, you can create interactive design in less than a minute! You also get the option to insert 3D texts, images, and videos from Youtube to the project. Let's take a closer look at the brand new set of tools you just got!
- Simple Transform Tool
Remember the old movement gizmo? Yep, the red, green, and blue arrow to move and scale the objects? In the Simple Editor, you have a new transform handle that is, as the name suggest, simpler. Pinch the object in and out to scale your object. Drag the corners left or right to rotate things. As for moving things? Just drag and drop stuffs as you like!
2. Insert Image
We heard you! Now you can insert pictures from your phone to your project. Add just one image or combine a lot of them into one project. Whether your next creation is a collage, a flyer, or even a social media post, let your imagination run wild!
3. Insert Video
If you like the previous feature, you're gonna like this too: embed video. You can now insert a video URL from Youtube to your design and present it in AR. And who says you can't combine these videos with 2D and 3D image? You can. So what kind of composition are you gonna make? Bet it's gonna be awesome.
4. Insert 3D Text
Holler to your friends easier with this last addition of tool: 3D Text. Now you can caption your design and add important information quickly with our perfectly matched fonts and stylish typography.
So what do you think? Don't forget to make sure you have the latest version of Assemblr to enjoy these features. Looking forward to your masterpiece!
