Teachers are used to go the extra miles for the love of their job – learning new tools is inevitably one of them. So far, we are always amazed as a lot of them tried to adapt, especially when it comes to creating AR lessons in Assemblr EDU.

However, one tricky part is when they must encourage their students to create their own AR projects. But for Mary Muolo, our Italian ACE, it seems that there's no such a huge problem to tackle.

Teaching primary students at Carolina Bregante - Alessandro Volta Comprehensive Institute Monopoli, Assemblr is actually no strange for Mary. It's been two years ever since she got to know the platform, and ever since the pandemic stroke, she ultimately chose Assemblr EDU as her teaching tool.

"It's the pandemic and I honestly had no choice – learning was still on the roll, and I needed to look for ways to make my students' learning experience meaningful yet interactively stimulating at the same time. Assemblr EDU helps me a lot, especially in times where distance learning is everywhere."

Ever since that moment, she then embarked her journey with Assemblr EDU. Among the other AR platforms and sites, Assemblr EDU became her one-pick tool, telling us that she's a fan of our Editors – Simple Editor and Classic Editor.

Her daily uses of Assemblr EDU for teaching including creating AR cards supported with AR markers, self-made lessons with different disciplines, or sharing the pre-made Assemblr EDU AR lessons with her students.

"I also share a bit of my tips on how to use Assemblr EDU with my students. All it takes is to simply share screen from my phone, and my students will watch me how to insert objects, videos, images, and create a complete project on Simple Editor or Classic Editor," Mary shared.

Although distance learning opens up new opportunities for Mary to explore, it also becomes her main challenge to overcome. "It's hard for me to explain the steps to the children, but thankfully the parents play a huge role here. They were even willing to learn and adapt to the technology to help their children, so it's all thanks to the parents!" told Mary.

Luckily, that's the only challenge she had to face because (thank God!) all her 21 students always enjoy building their creations in Assemblr EDU! They always love challenges and to get involved in assembling projects.

"What's more fascinating for me is that whenever they learned something new and we haven't created the AR projects yet, like in the history, science, or Italian language subjects – they would remind me and suggested that we should create one!"

Her students have created so many projects – from building soil layer in Classic Editor, re-creating the Trullo, to creating a project about sustainable environment. And we couldn't help but be stunned when viewing their creations, especially the ones created with Classic Editor. Please take a note that it's created by 8-year-old students!
