Introducing the cutting-edge feature from Assemblr Studio – Custom Interaction! This feature allows you to rotate, move, scale, play animation on your 3D objects, and to switch between scenes by clicking other 3D objects set as the trigger.

Switch Between Scenes

1. Click Interaction

2. Select the 3D object that you want to set as the trigger, and click Add more action to this trigger.

3. Choose Switch Scene

4. Choose the scene that you want to transition with on Scene names. You can also input the duration on Delay by to set a slight delay when you transition between scene. If you're all set, click Done.

Move Objects

1. Click Interaction

2. Select on the object that you want to set as the trigger, then choose Add more action to this trigger

3. Choose Move

4. You can move your objects by choosing between two options: Move To and Move By. Here's the difference.

By choosing Move To, your object will move to where you set your coordinates are. But, when you choose Move By, the coordinates you input will be added from your original position.

5. Set the x, y, and z coordinates into where you want to move your object at

6. Input the number of duration for your delay movement & move duration if you'd like it.

7. Choose Easing to pick your transition styles

8. Click Done

Scale Objects

  1. Click Interaction

2. Select on the object that you want to trigger, then click Add more action to this trigger

3. Choose Scale

4. Now, there are two options on how to scale your objects: Scale To and Scale     By.

If you choose Scale To, your objects will scale up or down according to the size that you've set previously.

And if you choose Scale By, your object will keep scaling up and down whenever you tap or click on the object, according to the size you've set.

5. Set your object size

6. Input the duration of your delay movement and Move Duration

7. Choose Easing to pick your transition styles

Rotate Objects

  1. Click Interaction

2. Select on the object that you want to set as the trigger, then click Add more   action to this trigger

3. Choose Rotate

4. Choose between Rotate To and Rotate By

5. Set the x, y, and z coordinates for how your object will rotate

6. Input the duration of your delay movement & Move Duration

7. Click Easing to pick your transition styles

8. Click Done

Play Animation on Objects

  1. Insert your animated 3D object

Please take a note that for this particular option, you need to have a 3D object that comes up with an animation. To do that, you can import the objects from the marketplace, such as CGTrader, Sketchfab, Free3D, and many more.

Or, the easiest way will be just typing 'free 3D models' on Google, search it, and it will do the rest for you.

2. Click Interaction

3. Select on the object that you want to set as the trigger, then click Add more action to this trigger

4. Choose Play Animation

5. Select the animation that you want to input on your object

6. Input the duration of your delay animation & animation speed

7. Click Play Mode to choose how you want to play your animation.

Here's what you need to know about the modes:

  • Default: your animation will play just as how it is originally.
  • Once: your animation just plays once from the beginning until the end.
  • Loop: your animation will repeatedly play. Yup, it will never stop playing.
  • PingPong: your animation will keep playing from the beginning until the end, and then backward, and so on.
  • Clamp Forever: when your animation reaches the end, it will keep playing the last frame.

8. Click Done
