Last week, as you may already know, we took part in Baros International Festival 2018, Indonesia. It's an annual program held since 2013 by Cimahi City Government, which proclaimed the city as 'animation city'. A series of activites took place there, like business meetings between creators and investors, discussions on animation industry, animation-related competitions, as well as exhibitions by the industry practitioners. We had so much fun there!
We opened a booth at the fair, and it was packed all day. It’s great to share how Assemblr could be an essential to us everyday. Our visitors came from a diverse background and age, from kids and families to students specialized in animation and 3D designs. It’s interesting how everyone had different ways on visualizing their ideas using our app and integrating it into their daily lives.
We also held a workshop on how to create 3D Augmented Reality with Assemblr. The tickets were sold out fast! It was great to see how our diverse participants are all enthusiastic to learn more about AR and its potentials. Some of them are familiar with 3D design already, and we can't wait to see how they'll use their newly acquired skills to create more immersive works in the future.
Anyway, we would like to thank BIAF 2018 for the opportunity to introduce AR to a wider audience and grow our community, which we're really excited about. We hope more cities will follow along the steps of Cimahi City and push more agenda to develop the local creative industry ecosystem through events like this.
That's our news for today. Looking forward to see you on our next events!
