It should come as no surprise that design matters to our little team. For the past few months, we have been working hard to bring you a fresh new look with an enhanced feel and easier navigation! Today we're very excited to reveal bits of our brand new look, inspired by you and your work. You will start seeing this makeover taking place over the next few months, but hey, there's no harm in knowing what to expect beforehand, right?

The new UI was developed in response to the need for a new and flexible look. Let's admit it – some of you might still think that doing tasks in Assemblr is such a hassle. So we carried out design sprints, iterations, prototyping – all that with you in our mind! We want to design something that makes it easier for you to get things done and focus on what matters.

We cannot wait for you to see it! Let’s dive in.

Simple, Lighter, and Faster

With a portrait mode as the default orientation, we want to make Assemblr feels natural for you! You’ll also notice we’ve designed new icons for all our products with intuitive visual cues to help you recognize each tool at a glance. We put forward the menu that matters the most, giving you a cleaner look.

Moreover, we revamped the Build mode and divided it into simple and advanced mode. Don't worry, your good ol' builder stays in the advanced mode! However, if you prefer a hassle-free, tap-and-go editor for a 5 minutes project, simple mode will definitely be your best friend.

Add Pictures, Videos, and Texts

We understand that not everyone has 3D assets to augment. Instead, some of you might want to use what you have in your phone gallery! That's why we added the new feature to AR everything, from pictures, videos, to texts! With a few taps, you could insert them and generate a marker for others to scan.

Once we make sure everything's ready, we'll definitely announce it in our social media. So make sure you follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Stay tuned!
