Recently, our team just got back from the world’s largest annual education technology show, BETT! Running from 22 to 25 January 2020 at ExCel London, we came all the way from Bandung again after once representing Indonesia at BETT 2018.

Anita Yustisia, our Chief Creative Officer who also leads Assemblr’s education team, recalled her experience with BETT before.

"After attending BETT for the first time in 2018, so many teachers have continued using our products and stuck with Assemblr. It seems that it spreads quickly through word of mouth among the teachers. We want to expand further into the European market, so that more global industry players will try and benefit from Assemblr."

In BETT 2020, there were 800 leading companies—from Microsoft, HP to Adobe—and 103 new EdTech (educational technology) startups which were brought together to exhibit their products and innovations. These industry players have all gone through a curation process by experts. This selection process included interviews, where the companies explained their track records.

The BETT, formerly known as the British Educational Training and Technology Show, is an EdTech exhibition which has been held since 1985. This time, the BETT was divided into 6 zones, namely Education Show, Learning Tech, Equipment & Hardware, Teaching Tech, Management Solutions, and Global Showcase. Assemblr was at stand NC12, in the Learning Tech zone.

There were several things that were showcased by Assemblr at BETT 2020, especially related to Assemblr in education. Visitors were able to go hands-on and learn firsthand how to use Assemblr in classrooms. That was fun!

Everyone who dropped by, which came from the global education community, also had a good time learning about special programs and subscription plans provided by Assemblr – especially Assemblr EDU, which is specifically built for the education sector.

All in all, BETT 2020 was a blast for us! It was an unforgettable week with so many cool shows, amazing products, and of course, inspirational educators. If you missed out the event, check out our recap below.

We'd like to thank everyone back in London for making our week at BETT 2020 incredible. Now that we're home, time to get back building the app you all love. Can't wait to show you more on our next events! 👋⁣⁣
